Brandon and I became friends the moment we met. We just clicked and suddenly, without warning, times when he was away felt wrong. In hindsight I think I knew all along that I was close to falling for him, but we were friends and that worked, so friends we remained... for a time. I remember one night all the staff from the Bungalow went and took part in a pool tournament. Brandon couldn't make it, he was busy. That was the night I realised he was more than a friend to me, he ended up coming and the moment I saw him walk through the door I immediately felt relaxed and happy. I went straight up to him and hugged him, I don't think I let go for ages! After that we became closer. I stayed up on night shifts with him. We shared secrets and wishes. I idolised him. Our first kiss was at a basketball match and it wasn't surprising, it had been building up for ages. From then on it was as if we'd been together forever. We were inseparable. Brandon brought out the best in me everyday and for that I will always be thankful. He brought an immeasurable amount of fun and love and smiles and sunshine into my life and that will never leave me. I never stopped loving him and I never will. Brandon told me that he would marry me one day. I will hold him to that, we will have a wedding in heaven where it is beautiful and painless and eternally sunny.
